ARA DAMANSARA, 16 JULY 2024: Sime Darby Property Berhad ("Sime Darby Property" or "Group") secured three victories at The Edge Malaysia Best Managed & Sustainable Property Awards 2024 (“BMSPA 2024”), highlighting the Group’s commitment to sustainability and excellence.

Organised annually by The Edge Malaysia, the BMSPA, now in its eighth instalment, celebrates Malaysian property management practices against best-in-class global standards. The awards have consistently raised the bar for the industry, emphasising the need for Malaysian real estate to be designed, built, and maintained sustainably.

Sime Darby Property’s first wholly-owned KL East Mall earned a bronze award in the Below 10 Years: Retail category, with concerted efforts to implement green building practices that enhance sustainability and reduce carbon footprint in the pipeline.

Opened to the public just last year, PARC was designed as a replicable community centre model to influence its surrounding communities and advocate for sustainable living.
