Sime Darby Property Achieves 100% Take-Up for City of Elmina’s New Flexi-linked Elmina Green Six Homes

ARA DAMANSARA, 4 JULY 2022 – Sime Darby Property Berhad (“Sime Darby Property” or “Company”) continues its string of successful residential launches with a 100% take-up rate for the new flexi-linked Elmina Green Six homes in the City of Elmina, Shah Alam.  

The City of Elmina is a wellness-oriented township that focuses on the overall well-being of its residents. Comfort and balanced lifestyles are key with the abundance of natural gardens and parks, such as the 300-acre Elmina Central Park that promotes physical and emotional wellness for the community. It is also home to Malaysia’s first Inclusive Playground for children with and without disabilities. 

Preservation of nature and conservation of biodiversity are emphasised in this township with the 1.09-acre Elmina Rainforest Knowledge Centre dedicated to community education and engagement and the 10-acre Elmina Living Collection Nursery which acts as a genetic store for the production and conservation of native tree species, including those categorised as endangered, rare, and threatened under the International Union for Conservation of Nature (“IUCN”). Sime Darby Property’s Chief Marketing & Sales Officer Datuk Lai Shu Wei said that the Elmina Green Six homes encapsulate the inspiration and wholesome essence of the township.

Homebuyers will appreciate the generous lot size which provides residents with the best of indoor and outdoor living in one functional yet practical layout,” he said. 

The 22’ x 80’ linked homes with a 12’ back yard garden offer built-ups from 2,170 sq ft to 2,675 sq ft. With prices starting from RM962,888, the Phase 1 of Elmina Green Six comprises 116 units of Type 1 homes which features four spacious bedrooms and four en-suite bathrooms.
Phase 2 which offers Type 2 homes with 4+1 bedrooms and five bathrooms will be unveiled tentatively at the end of this month. 

The Elmina Green Six homes boast a striking modern vernacular aesthetic with rustic brick veneer cladding, contrasting facade elements and pitched roofs. Each unit comes fitted with market leading specifications such as laminated timber flooring, premium sanitary wares, stone wool roof insulation and is complete with City of Elmina’s signature FittingsPlus+ that includes metal security grilles, built in air-conditioning piping, water booster pump and more. 

Residents will enjoy three serene parks with 18 amenities within the Elmina Green Six neighbourhood. The lush 21-acre Sakura Lake Park and the 8-acre Infinity Park are also located just a short jog or cycle away. In addition to supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and education institutions within and around the mature township, residents can look forward to exciting upcoming features including the Elmina Lakeside Mall, the Urban Park and the Forest Park that will be completed soon. 

The City of Elmina is a 6,500-acre township located along the Guthrie Corridor in Shah Alam and is accessible via the Guthrie Corridor Expressway, New Klang Valley Expressway (“NKVE”), Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway (“LATAR”) and the upcoming Damansara- Shah Alam Highway (“DASH”).
