ARA DAMANSARA, 1 FEBRUARY 2019 – More than 60 elderly folks in Klang and Petaling Jaya had a pleasant Chinese New Year surprise when Sime Darby Property employees visited their respective homes with goodies and carried out fun activities.

The employees were participants of Sime Darby Property’s “Drop Everything and Roll” (D.E.A.R.) volunteer program that provides opportunities for employees to actively participate in CSR initiatives.

They visited Pusat Jagaan Rumah Orang Tua Chik Sin Thong Klang dan Pantai in Klang and Rumah Orang Tua Seri Setia in Sungai Way, Petaling Jaya on 28 and 30 January respectively. In conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year, they helped clean and decorate the homes and spent time with the residents.

The program continued with other activities such as mini games to engage the residents and the distribution of personal care products such as toiletries and other basic necessities, donated by Sime Darby Property employees.
