ARA DAMANSARA, 22 March 2016 – Sime Darby Property together with residents of Bandar Bukit Raja joined efforts in celebrating Earth Hour on Saturday, 19 March 2016. The Earth Hour was celebrated by residents from 4,000 households within the township.
The event which was supported by the township’s resident associations, gave residents the opportunity to be part of a global effort in energy conservation and preservation of the planet, with the aim of creating a far-reaching environmental and social impact. The residents also took the chance to mingle with their neighbours, strengthening ties among members of the community.
Sime Darby Property is progressively delivering its promises by embedding sustainability in business practices, corporate culture and through a range of focused sustainability initiatives to reach out to its communities. The recent Earth Hour celebration in Bandar Bukit Raja extends this effort by creating an avenue for residents to contribute towards the wellness of the planet and their community.
