BANDAR BUKIT RAJA, 18 April 2018 – Sime Darby Property did it again – its latest residential product launch in Bandar Bukit Raja last weekend, Athira, was 90 percent sold. This follows the 100% and 80% take up rate of Serenia Amani & Orkid homes in Sime Darby Property’s latest township, Serenia City and Nilai Impian respectively, just two weeks ago.
The public snapped up almost all of the double storey link homes in the integrated and self-contained township over the weekend, reflecting the strong demand for properties in a great location.
Sime Darby Property Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Gerard Yuen said, “We are humbled by the response and support shown for Athira. As ‘the pride of Klang’, BBR offers superior connectivity, a close-knit community and an environment that promotes healthy living – elements which are essential to residents.”
Athira is an 18.21-acre freehold development comprising 22’ x 75’ double-storey link homes with spacious built up areas starting from 2,191 square feet. The first phase of 95 units of these multigenerational homes were made available for purchase during its launch weekend.
Athira homes are specially designed homes that can accommodate aging parents, grown children and young kids under the same roof. In Athira homes, the guest bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor are wheelchair friendly and adaptable to special needs – catering for an elderly or disabled family member.
Bandar Bukit Raja, the largest mixed development township in Klang, comes with excellent connectivity, directly linked to the 233km West Coast Expressway (WCE) which is expected to be completed in 2019 via two interchanges. The township is also connected to key locations such as Shah Alam, Subang Jaya, Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur via the North Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) and Federal Highway, Port Klang and Bandar Sultan Suleiman via the New North Klang Straits Bypass (Shapadu highway).
Ease of access to major transportation hubs such as North and West Port, Subang Skypark, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and KLIA2, and public transportation networks including the Light Rail Transit Line 3 (LRT3), KTM Komuter and the upcoming East Coast Rail Line (ECRL) are the other main advantages of Bandar Bukit Raja.
The ECRL is a high impact infrastructure project that connects the east coast of Peninsula Malaysia with the Klang Valley and Greater Kuala Lumpur. It is expected to unlock the latent growth of eastern state economies by providing a critical transport link to the more developed western region.
There are a number of hypermarkets and malls surrounding Bandar Bukit Raja such as AEON Bukit Raja, Klang Parade, Giant Klang Sentral, Tesco Setia Alam, Setia City Mall, and the upcoming Lulu Hypermarket. Columbia Asia Hospital and an upcoming General Hospital will further enhance Bandar Bukit Raja as an integrated and self-sufficient township.
Bandar Bukit Raja promotes healthy living, emphasising physical and emotional wellness of the community. The largest town park in North Klang is currently being developed within the township. Safety and security features such as its single entry and exit point for each of its housing areas are also a main focus of the township.
The township is also renowned for its vibrant community with 22 Residents Association formed. A collaborative environmental initiative between the residents, the township and the Klang Municipal Council (MPK) even won double global recognition in London and Dubai in 2017. The initiative won the Green World Award and Green Apple Environment Award that recognise, reward and promote environmental best practices around the world.
