Green certification

Overview

Although we plan and build all our townships and integrated developments to embed sustainability, from planning, to construction, to occupation, we selectively choose products that go through third party Green Certification. Below is a range of green certified examples.

Objective

Third party verification of green projects to assure customers and stakeholders of a product or township’s low carbon impact and energy efficiency potential.

Rationale

To support the world agenda on climate change mitigation and impact reduction. High-performing green buildings or township certification plays a key role in reducing the negative climate impacts of the built environment. Green ratings either local or international allocate high weightage to climate change mitigation strategies such as:

GHG emissions reduction during construction activities e.g., building and infra works.
GHG emissions reduction from building operations energy use directly associated with building operations.

Benefits

Reduction in the usage of energy, water and material resources and waste.
Minimise negative environmental impacts.
Improvement of indoor environmental quality for better health and well-being.
