SCAM ALERT! Sime Darby Property will never send an SMS or WhatsApp message, requesting permission to enter your home. If you have contacted Sime Darby Property regarding your property's maintenance, our personnel will return the call via our official landline number.

For your safety and security, should our personnel visit your home for inspection or maintenance, please verify that they are wearing Sime Darby Property's official attire, with a lanyard ID that features their name and the Sime Darby Property logo.

It has come to our attention that there are fraudulent recruitment notices for job vacancies within Sime Darby Property Berhad posted online and circulated via WhatsApp groups by unauthorised individuals/organisations

Kindly be informed that Sime Darby Property only advertises job vacancies on our website, https://www.simedarbyproperty.com/careers and via authorised job recruitment agencies, namely JobStreet and LinkedIn.

We advise you to refrain from responding to offers of employment from any unauthorised platforms. If you have applied for a position via or received an offer from any platform other than the ones mentioned above, please disregard them, and, where possible, flag the advertisement as fraudulent.

It has come to our attention that there have been incidents of individuals, entities and/or companies claiming to represent Sime Darby Property as employees, agents and/or representatives offering business proposals for investments, tender contracts and/or possible opportunities for partnership, collaboration and/or projects.

Kindly note that these are fraudulent offers. Be wary of them and seek further verification by contacting Sime Darby Property Berhad immediately. The Group shall not be responsible to any persons, parties, entities, firms or companies who suffer or incur any losses or damages from entering into such fraudulent business proposals.

We would like to inform you of a serious matter involving fraudulent attempts targeting our business partners. It has come to our attention that certain individuals have been impersonating the Director of Sime Darby Property Berhad ("SDP") and contacting vendors with request for donations to charitable organisations or NGOs. In addition, some vendors have received fraudulent 'Registration Invitations' requesting a refundable fee of RM 50,000 for registration with Sime Darby Berhad.

Please note that Sime Darby Property Berhad does not solicit donations from our partners or impose hefty fees for registration or tender processes. We also do not instruct financial deposits into personal or unknown entity's bank accounts. Should you be approached with such requests, we strongly advise you NOT to entertain the request. We would like to gently remind you to exercise caution on any requested personal data or financial transactions.

We consider this issue to be of utmost importance and urge you to report any such incidents immediately. Please use our whistleblowing channels by emailing whistleblow@simedarbyproperty.com to alert us of suspicious activities.

For any clarifications on requests you may receive, please feel free to reach out to SDP personnel directly through official channels.

We regret to inform that a recent incident has occurred in which one of our business partners has fallen victim to a scam, resulting in a financial loss of approximately RM45,000. This is a serious matter that underscores the ongoing threat posed by fraudulent individuals and organizations.

We would like to take this opportunity to reiterate the importance of remaining vigilant and alert to any suspicious activities. Specifically, we have received reports of fraudulent attempts by scammers requesting high “Registration Fees” or “Tender Participation Fees” ranging from RM40,000 to RM200,000 for participation in Sime Darby Property Berhad (SDP) projects. These requests have been falsely linked to SDP as a purported requirement for registration, tender participation, or other business-related activities.

Please be reminded that SDP does not impose any registration or renewal fees to activate its vendor account. We do not solicit such fees, nor do we request payments to personal or unknown entities' bank accounts. Any communications requesting these types of payments or personal data are fraudulent and should be treated with the utmost caution.

We urge all our valued business partners to exercise extreme caution and immediately report any suspicious communication or requests for payments. If you receive any such requests, do not respond, do not provide any personal or financial details, and contact us immediately for verification.
